A.L.F. Loyalty Program — General Terms (United States)
1. Overview
The A.L.F. Loyalty Program ("Program") is a voluntary rewards program offered by AlienTools to customers of the AlienTools U.S. shop. Members earn loyalty points through qualifying purchases and other engagement activities. Accumulated points convert to store credits redeemable on future purchases (excluding shipping and tax).
2. Eligibility
Participation requires creation of a customer account on the U.S. shop and acceptance of these terms during registration. Members of the A.A.A. Affiliate Program are not eligible to participate. You must be at least 18 years old.
3. Points Earned on Purchases
For every $1 USD of qualifying merchandise (excluding shipping, sales tax, and after discounts), the member receives 3 A.L.F. points, rounded to the nearest whole point. Points are credited upon order completion. Orders placed without being logged in to the member account or before joining the Program do not earn points retroactively.
4. Bonus Points
- Sharing/tagging an AlienTools social media post: 100 points (max 1 per day; post must be public and contain AlienTools-relevant content).
- Public Facebook or Google review: 500 points (max 1 per channel).
- Birthday bonus on the registered birth date: 1,000 points.
- Written testimonial AlienTools may use online: 2,500 points; with a photo: 3,500 points (max 1 per member; AlienTools may use for at least one year).
- Successful referral resulting in a sample-box or other paid order: 5,000 points.
5. Store Credit
Once a member earns 1,000 points, AlienTools issues a Store Credit code worth $10 USD. Codes are redeemable in the AlienTools U.S. shop on subsequent orders. Codes cannot exceed the order's net merchandise value (technical limitation), expire 365 days from issuance, and have no cash value.
6. Pricing Tiers
- 5,000 points: special prize
- 20,000 points: special prize and 5% better pricing in the shop (excluding sample boxes and special-sale items)
- 40,000 points: 10% better pricing
- 60,000 points: 15% better pricing
7. Expiration & Annual Review
Points and rewards expire 365 days from issuance. AlienTools conducts an annual end-of-year review of all member accounts to determine continued eligibility for discount tiers based on points earned in the current year. Members who fall below their tier threshold will be notified by email.
8. Termination
Members may withdraw at any time by emailing info@alien-tools.com. Existing points expire upon withdrawal and are not redeemable for cash. AlienTools may terminate or suspend membership for fraud, unpaid balances, abuse, or breach of these terms; in such cases existing points are forfeited.
9. No Cash Value; Tax Treatment
Points and rewards are promotional and have no cash value. Members are responsible for any tax consequences of receiving program rewards. AlienTools does not provide tax advice.
10. Changes to the Program
AlienTools may modify these terms or the Program with 30 days' notice by email or through the shop. Continued use of the Program after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Privacy
Personal information collected through the Program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These Program terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE OF U.S. INCORPORATION], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the dispute-resolution provisions of our U.S. Terms of Sale.
