This Privacy Policy describes how AlienTools collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information of consumers in the United States, and explains your rights under applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, and the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act).
1. Categories of Personal Information We Collect
In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers: name, postal address, email address, phone number, account login.
- Customer records: billing address, order history.
- Commercial information: products purchased or considered, A.L.F. loyalty balance.
- Internet/network activity: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time on page, referring URL.
- Geolocation: approximate location derived from IP address (for shop-region routing and shipping estimation).
- Inferences: derived preferences (e.g., product categories you browse).
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as defined under the CPRA without obtaining required consent.
2. Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information directly from you (when you register, place an order, contact support, or sign up for marketing), automatically through our website (cookies, server logs), and from service providers (payment processors, fraud-prevention tools, shipping carriers).

- Process and ship orders, manage returns, provide customer service, and operate the A.L.F. and A.A.A. programs.

5. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration as that term is used in the CCPA/CPRA. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that would trigger the CCPA's "sharing" definition. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on our shop.
6. Your Rights Under State Law
Depending on the U.S. state where you reside, you may have the following rights:
- Right to know / access: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to delete: request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions (e.g., transactional records we must retain).
- Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Our shop is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by federal and state tax, accounting, and product-safety laws.

AlienTools LLC is affiliated with AlienTools GmbH in Germany. Personal information may be transferred to, and processed in, the United States, Germany, and other countries where our service providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards (including contractual data-protection commitments) when transferring data internationally.

The A.L.F. Loyalty Program offers points and store credits in exchange for purchases and other engagement. The terms are described in the A.L.F. Program Terms. Participation is voluntary; you may withdraw at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last revised" date below indicates when it was last updated.
